The History of Ulysse Nardin
A journey through time.
Already in his early years, in 1846 to be precise, Ulysse Nardin had a clear vision of the future. The young watchmaker, who lived in Le Locle, was convinced that he could sustainably satisfy the increasing demand for ship and pocket chronometers.
His hypothesis proved correct, and he came to set the standard for precise marine timepieces as well as naval instruments.
After his death, his son took control of Ulysse Nardin and continued to add technical innovations, for which he received a multitude of prestigious watchmaker prices and technology patents.
