Since the summer of 2018, it also enchants visitors and locals in Lucerne, directly on the banks of the Vierwaldstättter Lake at the Hotel Schweizerhof. The Russian writer Lew Tolstoy addressed the exclusivity of their distinguished patrons in his novel Lucerne, published in the year 1857. The boutique is located in a historic building with a striking stone façade. Six large windows overlooking the lake, blend harmoniously into this exceptional environment. Van Cleef & Arpels was founded in 1906, at Place Vendôme 22 in Paris, after the marriage of Alfred Van Cleef and Estelle Arpels in the year 1895. Over the decades, the perfection and extraordinary creativity of this Maison of Haute Joaillerie achieved worldwide fame.
