1966 Collection
In 1966, Girard-Perregaux presented the first high-frequency caliber, which achieved exceptionally precise time measurements. Sincere minimalism and restrained elegance result in superior traditional timepieces.
For the 50th anniversary of the collection, Girard-Perregaux revolutionized the world of classic watches and presented the first oversized authentic classic watch. With this move, the manufactory started a significant new trend.
The History of Girard-Perregaux
The manufacturer Girard-Perregaux can look back on over 210 years of experience. Founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds, in the year 1791, Girard-Perregaux has since developed into one of the pillars of watchmaking greatness.
The manufactory is considered to be a founding member of the Swiss watchmaking industry and has since continuously contributed timepieces of the most exceptional horological quality. Even today, Girard-Perregaux is a real manufactory that develops, creates and produces in-house.
